President Erdoğan, responded to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu’s harsh criticism during a press conference today. Speaking at the consultation meeting at the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Directorate, Erdogan said, “As CHP leader realizes he will lose his seat, he becomes increasingly ugly, resorting to a poisonous political language. He tries to drag the country and the nation into his own abyss. We will never fall into this trap.”
President Erdoğan chaired a closed-door consultation meeting today. Evaluating the election process, President Erdoğan gave important messages for the second round as well.
“He is trying to drag the country and the nation into his own abyss. We will never fall into this trap. We will maintain our stance and keep our cool,” he said.
“As we have done for the past 21 years, we will mind our own business and focus on our own agenda,” said President Erdoğan. “We will present ourselves with our services, works, and projects to our nation once again. We will aim to win hearts and add another person to our ranks. Of course, while doing all this, we will not neglect to protect the ballot boxes on the election day.”
